Dear Skålleagues,
I’ve just returned from the Skål Asia Area Congress in Colombo, Sri
Lanka, where I had the great pleasure of meeting so many inspiring Skålleagues
from across the region. The energy and hospitality were exceptional, and the
Congress was a brilliant reminder of the power of the Skål network to connect
tourism professionals from around the world. The networking opportunities,
cultural experiences, and guest speakers were second to none – I encourage
everyone to consider attending future national and international Skål events to
truly experience the spirit of Skål.
This month we’re excited to launch a new feature in our newsletter: “Meet
a Member”. Each edition will spotlight one of our members from around
Australia to help us all get to know each other a little better. It’s a great
way to raise your profile and share your story within the Skål community. If
you’d like to be featured, send me an email and I can provide the template to

A reminder that orders for the Skål Australia green and gold polo
shirts close at the end of this month. These are perfect for the National
Assembly in Adelaide and especially handy for those heading to the Skål
World Congress in Peru. Our national uniform really makes us stand out, so
let’s represent Australia in style!
