Dear Skålleagues,
We’re in the final days to register for our 112th National Assembly in Adelaide, and we would love to see you there. In Adelaide, we’re putting our clubs firmly in the driver’s seat for a collaborative program that’s all about you – your challenges, your successes, and your ideas. Together, we’ll share experiences, celebrate wins, and explore fresh strategies. By learning from what works (and what doesn’t) across our clubs, we’ll shape the next 12 months for Skål Australia with purpose and momentum.
Congratulations to the inaugural graduates of the Skål International Perth SKIWA Mentorship Program, who celebrated their achievement this week. A huge well done to the Perth Club, the dedicated mentors, and the passionate mentees for delivering an exceptional first program. Mentoring younger professionals in tourism is vital – it ensures our industry is constantly evolving, future leaders are nurtured, and the values of professionalism, integrity, and friendship that define Skål are carried forward for generations to come. I look forward to hearing an update from the Perth team in Adelaide.
We’ve had a strong start to the year – thank you to all our members and clubs for your dedication and energy. Now, let’s keep that momentum rolling into the second half. Take advantage of pro-rata membership fees, run your membership drives, and keep spreading the word about why Skål matters – a truly global community of passionate travel and tourism professionals, united by friendship and committed to our industry’s success.
