Please join us for our combined SEQ Skål lunch event from midday on Thursday, 19th June 2025, at the Officer’s Mess, New Farm.

While we had grand ambitions for an on-water experience, despite exhaustive efforts by our wonderful events team, it became clear that options for a sit-down meal aboard boats, ships, or yachts departing from Brisbane were limited. It seems finger food has made its resurgence, but that wouldn’t suffice for our distinguished audience.

Fear not, though! We’ve found an incredible alternative that, while not on the water, offers stunning riverfront views and is widely celebrated for its culinary excellence. We will kick off the event with welcome drinks and canapés on the Water Lawn, followed by a spectacular shared feasting dining experience in their River Room.

We are also proud to welcome Hummingbird House as our charity of choice and guest speaker for the event. As Queensland’s only children’s hospice, Hummingbird House provides invaluable care and support, making this collaboration especially meaningful. We know that our Skålleagues and guests will leave not only with full bellies but also with hearts inspired by their impactful work.
